Mark Skidmore

Mark Skidmore is an entrepreneur, investor, and global marketing and public affairs leader. He is currently the CEO of Assemble where he has led the company’s growth serving industries, elected officials, and foundations. Mark creates strategic growth opportunities that stay ahead of public opinion, data trends, and cultural changes by combining his political, corporate, media, and investing experience. 

Mark has advised Presidential campaigns in the U.S., Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America, U.S Senators, Members of Congress, and Mayors. He has guided marketing and communications for Nike, a Fortune 100 investment bank and Fortune 100 healthcare company; foundations including the U.S. Olympic Committee, and U.S. trade associations across energy, healthcare, financial services, insurance, technology, education, media, and gaming. 

Mark was named to City & State’s Power Consultant’s List, and is a featured speaker at the Aspen Ideas Festival. His opinions and work have been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, POLITICO, AdAge, and PRWeek. Prior to founding Assemble Mark was a Founding Partner of Bully Pulpit Interactive (PE-acquired).

Mark is deeply committed to entrepreneurship, the arts, and culture. He advises nonprofits and startups that create new pathways for people to connect to services, resources, and to one another. Mark was a Founding Board Member of For Freedoms which led the largest public art campaign in U.S history. 

Mark graduated from New York University and is a lifelong Mets fan.
